BFF Halloween Card

Introducing: The Project Swap

Hello Lovelies,

The Project Swap is a swap that does various projects, i.e. paint sticks, mini envelope mini albums, post it note holders, etc...  This swap is themed as well as project specific.  We will be doing very small groups with this project, no more than 5 people per group because it is more comprehensive.  This is a due 30 day swap, meaning that your projects will be due at the end of 30 days from the sign-up closing.  For example:  Sign-up ends on 9-15-10, your project is due on 10-15-10.  This swap will begin on 10-1-10...sign-ups will go from now until 9-29-10.  I will post the groups and details on the 30th.  Our first project will be door hangers with a Fall/Thanksgiving theme and I will post a picture in the next few days for a visual.  I hope you find this interesting and as always, stressfree and fun.

This is the completed "June 2010" tag for my first ever swap. I had an idea of what I wanted to do soon after I signed up for this swap, however, I had never done anything like this before and only recently actually started crafting. I was really nervous to say the least and I was afraid that it would turn out like crap so, I practiced and posted a similiar version of this tag on my youtube channel and on Life on the {ScraP} beach. It received lukewarm reviews and lacked the overall polished look that I wanted it to have so, I went on a mad hunt for chipboard and was lucky enough to find a place to get chipboard within my price range. I then went back to the drawing board and this is what I came up with. TFL! Have a wonderful and blessed evening. ~Shen

This is a tag that was created for a Tag Swap that I entered and I chose to keep it simple but nice. Teniqua(http://tenitinycrafts.blogspot.com or YouTube channel - TeniTinyCrafts) and I committed to do a weekly project to keep us crafting and fine tune our skills - I am late...I was suppose to have this posted earlier, my apologies. I am not finished with my project...I hate to be late with anything and this is driving me nuts. My craft space is a mess and I need to clean it up as well as tidy up the house because tomorrow my sister is coming to town...my older and only sister. Yikes! I can't wait to see my sister...I really miss living near her.

I haven't done too much to this blog because I have been super busy with my exercise routine and crafting. I have committed to post here more frequently and also offer some give-a-ways to my subscribers. I will be posting some videos that I have created very soon, so stay tuned.

Just Another Tuesday

I hadn't posted in several days because I was still making purchases and I started exercising, mind you I haven't exercised like this since Marine Corps Boot Camp.  I am too old for this, I think.

Tuesday Calmness

Today has been a wonderful day.  Chace and I hung out while Dylan was at school (daycare).  He has really become quite the "Man" and I am so proud of him.  Homeschooling him this year was challenging, not because of the content but because I wanted to make those subjects that I am not as enthused with myself fun for him.  We made it through it and to GOD we give all the glory. 

Monday Spending

Hi, I am still working on getting things up and running.  I have been shopping for little odds and ends that I needed to complete and get started on some projects. Today was a good day...I am really enjoying my break.  I'll be sharing some videos from my YouTube channel, "MyCuriousCrafts."

Sunday Madness

Well, I finally done it...I took the plung and created a blog so that I can be amongst the rest of the scrap and craft world.  I think this is going to be a lot of fun for me.  Today hasn't been a very eventful day for the most part.  I have done some rearranging in my crafting space trying to accomodate my craft spending habit, lol.
