I am in a hurry this morning because I am a part of a wedding party in Dallas and I live in Houston, so that is 3.5 hours of driving that I have to do this morning but I just couldn't leave without spending some time in my craft room today.  I hope you ladies have an awesome Saturday with loads of fun. Twisted Easel - Potential Swap Card

Hello Lovelies,
I have a "twisted easel" card to share with you. This is my first attempt at this type of card. It took a little time, not because of the fold (easy, so please try it) but because I didn't have any plans for the card, no paper, no ideas. Now, this is normally the case with one exception, I have my design paper picked out, not for this card.  All I knew was, it would be a "twisted easel" card. I am struggling a little bit today with my execution...might be the telephone. Everyone and their extended family has called me today.  Usually, I am able to get right off the phone but not today, don't they know, "I'm crafting." Anyhoo, I have a swap coming up and I'm trying to decide which card to send.  I have enough time, they aren't due until the 20th but I will be mailing them out on the 5th. So, you ladies and I have to decide which one to mail by then.  I will make one more set and then, we will decide between the (3) designs, okay? Thanks for the visit.

Hello Lovelies,
I want to share some "Blog Candy" with you today.  I was going to wait until we reached 100 Special Friends, but patience isn't something that I have a lot of, unfortunately. The saying goes that GOD will give you the desires of you heart and he has done this for me with regard to this hobby. I am doing this give-a-way now because he has blessed me with some opportunities upcoming that I never thought possible, not for me and this craft. I never thought I was good enough. Anyhoo, I really appreciate you all and I hope you all win.  Eventhough, I know that only one of you will.  You all have been so nice and supportive, it amazes me.  I really try to create worthy projects, I started this blog without knowing very much and was purchasing everything I saw without regard to my personal style. I was trying everyone else's style but my own. Now that I've decided to do "ME" you all visit and leave comments that say such super cool and nice things. I practice all the time because I want to be good enough.  Sorry that I got long-winded but I truly wanted to share a little piece of my story with you today.
